“Yoga for runners” is founded by Jess Lim , a physiotherapist & Vanessa Leong, a Yoga Therapist in 2017. We are the first in Malaysia who organized Yoga For Runners. With the unique combination of physiotherapy and yoga therapy, we bring more value to the students.
The idea of starting “Yoga for Runners” stemmed when Jess always get question like “ Is Yoga good for my running?”
Yes, Yoga is good for runners, but there are millions of Yoga poses, WHICH pose is good?
Does your yoga teacher tell you what muscles/body part you were working on in the poses you were doing? Does your yoga teacher tell you what to avoid to prevent injures ? and what injuries to which body part? As a certified Yoga therapist, Vanessa is able to prescribe specific Yoga posture that has therapeutic effects on painful joints, telling you which pose is for what purpose and which body parts you are working on, and most importantly to teach you what to avoid so that you won’t get injured!
