Assunta Hospital is honoured to be an official sponsor of the highly anticipated PJ Half Marathon 2025, a community event that champions health, unity and active living.

On 4 August 2025, our team proudly attended the official media conference at Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya Headquarters. As a symbolic gesture of support, our CEO Mr. Wilson Choo presented Assunta Hospital’s logo to YBrs. Tuan Aznan bin Hj. Hassan, Deputy Mayor of Petaling Jaya.

Officiated by the Mayor of Petaling Jaya, Tuan Haji Mohamad Zahri Bin Samingon, the ceremony marked the symbolic installation of the Jalur Gemilang on various vehicles - including fire trucks, police cars, motorcycles, 4WDs, including our very own Assunta Hospital van, highlighting our shared pride in the nation’s independence.

As a long-standing partner of Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ), Assunta Hospital is honoured to support government-led initiatives that strengthen community bonds and national identity.

Assunta Hospital was pleased to host a Familiarisation Tour for representatives from AIA Malaysia, a valuable engagement to deepen collaboration and enhance service alignment between our organisations.

The session opened with a warm welcome and hospital presentation by Mr Wilson Choo (CEO) and Ms Kong Chew Yen (COO), followed by insightful briefings on key operational areas such as patient admission & discharge protocols by Mr Harvinth (Senior Manager, Business Office), and medical records processes by Ms Shankaree (Medical Record Manager).

An engaging health talk on Digestive Disorder was also delivered by Dr Jeeta Muthumanikam (Consultant Physician & Gastroenterologist), adding medical value to the day’s agenda.

The visit concluded with a comprehensive tour of our key clinical and patient care facilities, providing AIA’s team with a better understanding of the hospital’s capabilities and commitment to patient-centred care.

It was an enriching and productive session that reflects our shared vision to deliver seamless, affordable, and quality healthcare to AIA policyholders.
