Not necessarily. Why people get ill? Mostly related with poor lifestyle and .

This patient presented with asymmetric eye and was diagnosed with . Whilst many chase the latest expensive medication, his treatment is more or less back to the basic. he realised his hectic lifestyle lead him to poor immune system . He took the courage to change his job, eating healthily and adopt . With some established old medication and injection, he is back to his normal self.

Doctor is so glad to be part of his journey. His courage and determination saves him from a prolonged illness course.

What would you do when someone has a devastating diagnosis of conjunctiva (pigmented cancer in the eye)?

This Indonesian lady sought foreign country help when the pigment in the eye was diagnosed with conjunctiva melanoma. Yes, can grow in the eye.

Clinical examination shows multiple pigmented lesion, quite extensive surrounding the eye. As it is quite unusual to have sudden onset of such an extensive lesion with no other health history. A further multiple biopses was done.

Interestingly, none of the biopsy specimen shows cancer but only melanocytic naevus. Whilst it is important to be cautious , if one in doubt, a further biopsy should be done before any drastic procedures should be performed (in this example , if it is proven and multiple conjunctival melanoma, the eye may need to be removed).

Thankfully, it is a beautiful ending and this lady with her dutiful daughter returned back home.

Lesson to learn:

sometimes some biopsy outcome can be a bit equivocal. If one is suspicious, it is good to reconfirm again before embarking on any drastic surgery.

如果化验报告显示是眼结膜黑色素瘤。该怎么办？

这位从印尼飘洋过海的女人带着一个伤心的化验显示黑色素瘤。结膜与眼皮確实有非常多的黑色色素，可是太多了，有点不寻常。如何好？如何是好磁共振成像也没有显示出任何不好的东西。医生把所有 #结膜黑色斑点全部拿去切除更化验，结果所有化验显示都是良性的黑色痣。免除了大手术与保全视力。谢天谢地

这真是开斋节的好礼物，而这位女士也开开心心和他孝顺的女儿离开了。

温馨提醒：有时 #化验的结果可能会有一些争辩性，再次化验可能会避开一些不必要和比较激烈的措施。祝大家身体健康。

Asymmetric eye: Which one is the problem?

A 30 years old healthy man find out his eye looks . Since everyone in the world prefer , he went to request right / surgery from Dr Ho. Despite his big eye looks , Dr Ho find that this is quite for Malaysian Chiense cohort.

Further investigation showed he suffered from / ,blood test showed he got . After and medication and , within 6 months, his eye is back to normal and so with his blood test results.

Better to have a smaller eyes rather than bigger but diseased eye!!🙏☺️

Keep it discreet and quick

Many people want to looks better/normal but is afraid of people finding out and naming them vain. That is the mentality for most Malaysians. Luckily, this can happen with improving surgical techniques.

This lady with right is fed up of being told how tired she looks and am also afraid of an “ operated “ look. Luckily three weeks after operation, she recovered well with minimal traces of surgery. Just in time for !!!

Struggling to keep eyes open at night? Eyes become smaller?

This beautiful capable lady find she struggles to keep eyes open at night. Despite feeling , people comments she looks tired. She has some leading to loss of and sensation.

After surgery, she comments how easy it is to open her eyes , even at night. Her double eyelid is back. Importantly she looks which is well matched to her vibrant personality. Her looks do not alter much either.

Oh yes, she reminded Dr Ho should train with weights. Muscle loss is common after middle aged onwards.

B: Address the precipitating factors, lead a healhty lifestyle and take necessary medicine, but may be slow.

TED is an disease which can be disfiguring and causes visual symptoms including , reduced vision and eye discomfort. Dr has seen it destroys a marriage and makes someone lose their job. Please look at the journey of a lady with TED.

Lower eyelid pulled down ( ) after surgery?

Common seen complication post op. It is not only unsightly, but cause chemosis (Swelling of conjunctiva) and lead to disturbed vision. He also cannot closes eyes fully at sleep ( ). Thankfully, after surgery, patient’s situation is very much improved.

Both upper and lower eyelids are important for eye function. It is not just beauty , but to protect the eyes.

eyes no more!!!

While can look great in other races, it seldom looks good in due to our delicate bony structure. This patient frightened of surgery have tried everything else to prevent looking tired. Full face biostimulater / /fake eyelashes, you name it. The and work so hard that her natural is also hard to see as it is overstretched. Finally she plucked up the courage to have the surgery.

The effect: : “ Dr , it is the first time I don’t need to strain open my eyes to see, lifting upper eyelid to see is so easy!!!” And she has a beautiful brow and double eyelid to her eyes. And most importantly “ she is still her !!!” A better fresher version of herself.



不再有深凹无神的眼睛！

#深邃的眼睛在外国人也外国人脸上可能会很出色。可是并不适合 #东方人 #细致内敛的 #骨相。大部分并不好看。这位病人由于长期 #熬夜，眼睛凹进去，她尝试了全脸全脸biostimulator和 #假睫毛却 #无济于事，她额头需要拉得很高才能看清楚，双眼皮也因此变浅了。最后他鼓起勇气去做了提眼肌和自体脂肪填充手术。

结果：”医生，我现在很容易张开眼睛了。好开心。同时，再也不需要假睫毛让自己更有精神”。，因为他的眉毛和双眼皮把他的眼睛撑得非常有精神，最要紧的是他还是他样子没变，只是看起来更精神而已！
