Last Sunday, October 12,2025, our Columbia Asia Hospital Petaling Jaya (CAHPJ) family rolled into action at Wangsa Bowl, One Utama, Damansara for an exciting Bowling Tournament — part of our ongoing Employee Engagement Group (EEG) activities!

A total of 60 enthusiastic staff joined the fun-filled event, showcasing great teamwork, energy, and sportsmanship throughout the games.

This event was proudly organized by our Human Resource Manager, Ms. Sasikala Namsee, as part of our efforts to strengthen team bonding and promote work-life balance among staff.

We’re thrilled to share that Columbia Asia Hospital Petaling Jaya was invited by Subang Jaya Medical Centre (SJMC) to participate in a friendly Badminton Tournament held on October 7, 2025, at Subang Racquet & Golf Centre.

A total of 10 teams competed consist of 5 Men’s Doubles, 3 Mixed Doubles, and 2 Women’s Doubles, showcasing great teamwork, sportsmanship, and unity in support of breast cancer awareness. Congratulations to Columbia Asia Hospital team for wining as overall and the Final Score is 7 – 3 for category Men’s Doubles 2 Mixed Doubles matches.

Columbia Asia Hospital Iskandar Puteri and Columbia Asia Hospital Tebrau were delighted to bring our Columbia Kids Club (CKC) members on an exciting trip to UK Farm, Kluang! 🚍✨

The children had a wonderful time exploring the farm and meeting animals such as deer, chickens, ducks, goats, cows, and more. They enjoyed feeding the animals, watching a live goat-milking demonstration, and later tasting the farm’s fresh goat’s milk.

The adventure continued as the kids visited the passionfruit orchard, where they learned how the fruits are grown and gained a deeper insight into farm life. To make the day even more special, they were also treated to a lively cultural performance by the Orang Asli, giving them the chance to experience something new and unique.

It was truly a day filled with fun, laughter, and discovery — a memorable outing where the children not only played but also learned about nature, animals, fruits, and culture.

🌱 Driving Impact Through Collaboration 🌱

As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental Sustainability Initiative, Columbia Asia Hospital Klang organized “Cleaning the Beach, Healing the Earth” on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Pantai Remis, Jeram. This event was held in conjunction with our Environmental, Safety & Health, Infection Control, and Human Resources Open Day.

This initiative reflects our commitment not only to quality healthcare but also to the well-being of our community and the environment.

A total of 60 dedicated staff members came together to clean the beach and surrounding recreation area. After a quick 8 AM briefing, the team rolled up their sleeves — and by 10 AM, successfully collected 112.5 kg of trash, surpassing our target of 100 kg! 🧹👏​

We believe that small actions, when united, can create a meaningful impact. Through this program, we aim to encourage healthier habits, raise awareness on protecting natural resources, and foster a culture of care that extends beyond our hospital walls. 💙
