An incident which happened to my secondary schoolmate on 24th June 2021 (MCO 2), around 3pm I received a call from Prudential CS kajang. And I’m being informed that this schoolmate was encountered an accident. Able to contact her husband and get to know she was admitted to Kajang hospital and did abdominal surgery on that day, that’s to make sure did she having any internal organ injury…
While discussing with her husband that he wanted to transfer my schoolmate to private hospital once her conditions are stable. Unexpected kajang hospital auto discharged my schoolmate on 30th July (7 days). 😱😱😱😱 I was shocked while I received a call from her that she has already got home 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

Without thinking further, I called to the private hospital (Columbia Hospital) which is the nearest hospital from her house. Ambulance came and done with all the checking on her condition yet the hospital refused to accept her case and refer her to Sunway Medical Centre. Thank god, Sunway Ambulance 🚑 arrived in 30 minutes time and send her to Sunway Medical Center.

What I would like to emphasize here was, government hospitals are lack of man power and lack of hospital facilities badly in this COVID pandemic. When you encountered a very bad accident and you needed treatment immediately… No choice, you would still have to look for private hospital.

The most important is “Are you financially well prepared while you have no alternative?”
