Is anyone aware of Hospital Acquired Infections and the dangers of them? I gave birth to healthy twins in a Private Medical Centre in Kuala Lumpur. A medical centre I believed to be “THE BEST” in Malaysia, not knowing my healthy infant would come out disabled for life.
Hospital-acquired infections (HAIs) are infections caught in healthcare settings, often caused by bacteria, viruses, or fungi. They are a major concern because they can be life-threatening and are often acquired due to factors like invasive medical procedures, prolonged hospital stays, and compromised immune systems. Prevention focuses on strict infection control, including proper hand hygiene and aseptic techniques.
When choosing a hospital or a clinic, even for something simple please ensure the doctor wears gloves (new ones), please ensure you see the doctor open syringes and needles, if you see anything dirty - walk out.
Due to not following simple procedures and standards of care my son has a life long disability, he suffers excruciating pain on a daily basis and there IS NO CURE.
