💖 Full of Gratitude & Blessings 💖

At our senior care home, we are often touched by the kindness of many good-hearted people — whether it’s donating supplies or bringing food, every gesture of care brings warmth to our elderly residents.

This time was even more special — hairstylist Xavier Chong came to our home to give free haircuts ✂️.
All our uncles and aunties received beautiful, fresh new looks, and their smiles showed just how much they enjoyed it.

YBrs. Tuan Hj. Mohamad Zahri bin Hj. Samingon, Datuk Bandar Petaling Jaya hari ini merasmikan Majlis Peluncuran Kempen Kibar Jalur Gemilang Peringkat Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ) dan Kembara Merdeka Jalur Gemilang (KMJG) 2025 Peringkat Daerah Petaling bertempat di Laman MBPJ, Jalan Yong Shook Lin, Seksyen 52.
Majlis turut menyaksikan perlepasan konvoi Kembara Merdeka Jalur Gemilang 2025 (KMJG 2025) Peringkat Daerah Petaling yang memilih Petaling Jaya sebagai lokasi hentian kedua dalam siri jelajah peringkat negeri Selangor. Konvoi ini memulakan perjalanannya semalam dan akan meneruskan pergerakan ke destinasinya seterusnya di Sekinchan sebagai hentian ketiga.
Turut hadir, YBrs. Tuan Cik Kazidi bin Mohd Zainuddin, Pengarah Jabatan Penerangan Malaysia Selangor, DSP Sivakumar a/l Thankaraja, Ketua Bahagian Pencegahan Jenayah Dan Keselamatan Komuniti Daerah (IPD Petaling Jaya) dan Puan Hajah Haniza binti Abdul Hamid, Pengarah Komunikasi Korporat, menjadikan majlis peluncuran tahun ini lebih bermakna dan penuh warna-warni.
Menariknya, majlis ini turut mengetengahkan elemen kelestarian apabila sebanyak 1,395 unit botol plastik terpakai berjaya dikumpulkan bersamaan dua ‘jumbo bag’ seberat 50 kilogram. Inisiatif ini menjadi lambang komitmen warga Petaling Jaya terhadap pemeliharaan alam sekitar, selari dengan semangat cintakan negara yang dizahirkan melalui tindakan bertanggungjawab dan berimpak lestari.
Sempena Bulan Kebangsaan 2025, MBPJ telah merangka sebanyak 24 program meliputi aspek kenegaraan, komuniti, seni, sukan dan kesihatan awam. Antara program utama termasuk MBPJ Trial Run Series, PJ Half Marathon, Placemaker Week Asean 2025 dan Pertandingan Keceriaan Komuniti Merdeka.
Bulan Kebangsaan 2025 bertemakan “Malaysia MADANI: Rakyat Disantuni” menekankan semangat perpaduan, cintakan negara dan kebersamaan rakyat dalam menghayati erti kemerdekaan yang sebenar.
