πŸ‘Άβœ¨ Did you know physical activity starts from day one?
Even before your little one takes their first steps, simple daily movements β€” like tummy time, rolling, reaching, and crawling β€” play a huge role in:
πŸ’ͺ Building motor skills
🧠 Boosting brain development
πŸ§β€β™€οΈ Strengthening muscles
πŸ‘€ Supporting sensory coordination

πŸ’‘ Just 30 minutes of tummy time (spread throughout the day) helps set the foundation for healthy growth.

At Spark CDC, we believe movement matters from the very beginning. 🌟

😴 Sleep is the secret ingredient for your child’s growth.
In the first five years, sleep fuels brain development, emotional balance, learning, immunity, and physical repair.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Most young children need 10–14 hours of sleep a day (including naps) for healthy development.

Let’s give their minds and bodies the rest they deserve. πŸŒ™πŸ’€

They’re always watching β€” and learning. πŸ§ πŸ‘€
Your daily habits around movement, sleep, and screen time shape how your child grows, plays, and rests.

πŸ’‘ Be the example:
πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ Move together
😴 Stick to a bedtime routine
πŸ“΅ Put phones away during meals and play

🌱 At Spark CDC, we support families in building healthy habits β€” together.

πŸ“– Reading is one of the best kinds of quiet time.
Not all sitting is harmful β€” when you cuddle up with your child and share a story, you’re building their brain, language, focus, imagination… and a stronger bond. πŸ§ πŸ’¬πŸ€—

Just a few minutes each day makes a difference.
Let storytime be your child’s daily dose of connection and growth. πŸ’›

πŸͺ‘ Not Just Screen Time β€” All Sitting Counts!
It’s not just screen time that adds up β€” time spent strapped in strollers, car seats, or high chairs is also considered sedentary time.

⚠️ According to WHO, young children shouldn’t be restrained for more than 1 hour at a time.

Even small changes help:
🐾 Swap stroller time for tummy time
🎈 Choose floor play over long chair sits
🌳 Head outdoors for fresh-air movement

πŸ’‘ Keep little bodies moving for healthy growth and development!

🧸 At Spark CDC, we help families build active, screen-free routines β€” even for the littlest ones.

✨ Morning dance party
✨ Outdoor playtime
✨ Chasing bubbles
✨ Helping with simple chores
✨ Evening walk with the family

πŸ’‘ Keep it fun, screen-free, and part of your daily routine. The more active, the better!

πŸ‘‰ Save this for daily ideas & routines.
πŸ‘Ά At Spark CDC, we support healthy development through joyful movement and play.

πŸ—£οΈ Want to support your child's speech at home? Try these 4 easy tips!

You don’t need special tools β€” just simple changes to your everyday routine:

1️⃣ Offer choices & pause
πŸ§ƒ β€œDo you want juice or milk?” Then wait and give them a chance to respond.

2️⃣ Keep talking!
Narrate your day using short, simple words: β€œShoes on! Time to go!”

3️⃣ Reduce screen time
πŸ“΅ Face-to-face play helps your child learn words, expressions, and turn-taking.

4️⃣ Celebrate every word
πŸ‘ If they say β€œcar,” you can say β€œred car!” β€” adding one more word to help them grow.

πŸ’¬ Small steps at home = big support for your child’s language journey.
