Digestive changes are common during Ramadan — especially for older adults.

Changes in meal timing, hydration, and routine can sometimes lead to constipation.

A few simple habits can help keep things regular and comfortable.

💧Encourage fluids between iftar and sahur
🥦 Include fibre such as vegetables, fruit, oats, and dates
🙆🏻‍♀️ Gentle movement after meals can help digestion

If constipation becomes persistent or uncomfortable, it may be worth discussing it with a doctor.

If your loved one needs help getting to a clinic or health appointment, Teman can accompany them and provide transport support so they can see their doctor safely and comfortably.
