🌳 Nature: The Best Teacher for Our Little Ones ☀️
We are still feeling the warmth from our wonderful outing at Berjaya Park yesterday! It was the perfect day—surrounded by lush green leaves and graced with such beautiful, comfortable weather.
At Nania, we believe deeply in the importance of exposing children to the natural world. When we bring children into nature, we allow the best of the earth to return to them—nurturing their curiosity, grounding their spirits, and helping them grow into resilient, joyful individuals. 🍃✨
This outing was a beautiful journey of that growth. Seeing our children eagerly explore the park, touch the grass, and share moments of wonder with their friends was a true testament to the healing power of the outdoors. They were not just playing; they were blossoming.
A massive, heartfelt THANK YOU to our amazing parent volunteers. Your presence allowed us to facilitate this space for the children, and we truly couldn’t have done it without your support! 🙌

Scrap scrap scrap… clean the edges.
熱い！热！HOT!!! peel the fresh love letter—quick, quick!

Nania’s porch turned into a little pre-CNY gathering—parents chatting, laughter floating around, families from different cultures sharing one sweet tradition.

Some overbaked. Some undercooked. Some torn.
But everyone kept trying—because the perfect love letter takes patience (and a little bravery in the heat 😆).

In the end, they went home with tins of their own bakes—and the happiest, proudest smiles. 🧡

“Klak klak klak…” — the sound of flipping the love letter mould.
“Scrap scrap scrap…” — scraping the overspill off the mould’s edge.
“Juak juak juak!!! 熱い 熱い 熱い!!! 热！热！热！” — the honest complaint when peeling off a freshly baked piece!

「Klak klak klak…」——翻转爱心饼模的声音。
「Scrap scrap scrap…」——把溢出来的饼浆刮回去的声音。
「Juak juak juak!!! 熱い 熱い 熱い!!! 热！热！热！」——刚出炉的爱心饼，撕下来真的很烫！

「Klak klak klak…」—型をひっくり返す音。
「Scrap scrap scrap…」—はみ出した生地をこそげ取る音。
「Juak juak juak!!! 熱い 熱い 熱い!!! 热！热！热！」—焼きたてを外す瞬間、ほんとに熱い！

The flip-flap rhythm echoed across the whole Nania porch, while parents chatted happily—like a little pre-CNY gathering, with families from different countries and cultures.

翻模的节奏回荡在整个 Nania 走廊，家长们一边聊天一边笑着，就像农历新年前的小聚会，来自不同国家与文化的家庭，在这里相遇。

Naniaのカーポーチに型の音が響き、保護者のみなさんのおしゃべりと笑い声が広がりました。まるで旧正月前の小さな集まり。いろんな国や文化の家族が、ここでひとつに。

The aroma of baked love letters filled the air—eggy caramel sweetness… some overbaked, some undercooked, some torn and shredded. Everyone kept experimenting, trying again and again to catch the perfect moment.

蛋香和焦糖甜味飘满空气——有些烤过头、有些还没熟、有些破了碎了。大家不断尝试、不断调整，只为了抓住那一刻最完美的火候。

卵とキャラメルの甘い香りがふわっと広がり…焼きすぎたり、まだ柔らかかったり、破れてしまったり。みんな何度も挑戦して、“ちょうどいい瞬間”を探していました。

It’s never easy—and it’s hot.
But the participants glowed with smiles the whole time.

做爱心饼从来不简单，而且真的很热。
但每个人的脸上都一直带着发光的笑容。

簡単じゃない。しかも外は暑いし炭火で熱せられた型も本当に熱い。
それでも、みんなの笑顔がずっと輝いていました。

In the end, they went home with tins of their own handmade love letters—warm hands, full hearts, and that satisfied smile that says: “We made this together.” 🧡✨

最后，他们带着亲手烤的爱心饼回家——手是热的，心是满的，还有那种满足的笑：**「我们一起做到了。」**🧡✨

最後は、自分で焼いたラブレタークッキーを缶に詰めてお持ち帰り。手はアツアツ指は軽いやけど。けれども心は満たされ、**「一緒に作ったね」**という満足の笑顔に。🧡✨

Setsubun – Welcoming Spring

As winter ends, Japan celebrates Setsubun.

A seasonal tradition marking the shift into spring.

Mamemaki involves roasted soybeans thrown while calling out "Oni wa soto! Fuku wa uchi!" — Sickness and sadness outside. Happiness inside.

At Nania, children fold origami boxes to hold their soybeans. They design masks; some as playful demons, others as gods of happiness. They wear the masks, sing the traditional chant, and toss the beans with abandon.

The children name their feelings. Release what weighs on them. Welcome what they need.

Winter leaves. Spring arrives. And emotions get the acknowledgment they deserve. 🌸
