Many have asked me the difference between tarot and oracle cards. Here i am writing what i know to the best of my knowledge. The word tarot comes from the river taro in northern Italy.
In the early 15th century it was a popular card game and it was also used for meditation, tarot cards have a fixed, structured system and format with 78 cards. They are divided into major and minor arcanas. Arcanas are secrets or mysteries.
A deck comprises 22 major trumps (major arcana] and 56 suit cards (minor arcana) major arcana represents spiritual journey and minor arcana day to day life, the mundane features of life oracle cards need more time to study as it is a reflection of life's journey.
