Grateful for the opportunity to share a short reflection during our Iftar gathering today, on the 27th night of Ramadan.
This is a special night where many of us are reminded to increase our efforts in doing good deeds and striving for the blessings of Lailatul Qadr. It is a special time in the year where we pause, reflect, and reconnect with our purpose.
For me, Ramadan is also a reminder that each of us has been entrusted with unique abilities and opportunities. The challenge is to recognize that potential and use it for the benefit of others.
Whether as doctors, healthcare workers, or members of the wider healthcare team, we should always strive to give our best, serving patients with sincerity, compassion, and excellence.
I am thankful for the chance to gather together with consultants, medical staff, non-medical staff, and invited guests in such a meaningful session.
Moments like these remind us that beyond our daily work, we share a common purpose: to grow as better professionals and better human beings.
May the remaining days of Ramadan bring blessings, reflection, and renewed strength for all of us.
