16 Uses For Hand Sanitizer besides sanitizing your hands!!
1. Cleaning screens/appliances (cell phone, sunglasses, windows, mirrors, refrigerator, dishwasher, etc):
It works great for wiping down cellphones -screen and all, cleaning bathroom mirrors for beautiful streak-free results, shining the shower stall glass door, and keeping eyeglasses smudge-free.
Replaces window cleaner, shower cleaner, glass cleaner, clorox wipes, etc
2. Cleaning white boards
3. Removing glue, sticky residue:
Just like hairspray, adhesive residue is tough to remove with just soap and water. Whether you’re removing adhesive residue from your skin, furniture, wall, new dishes, or a handbag, hand sanitizer will make the job easier.
4. Paint stains
5. Pimples:
Since hand sanitizer can be drying to skin, I can see how it could help dry up acne as well.
6. Itchy bug bites
7. Removing stains from clothing:
Remembering this tip could really come in handy when you spill something on your clothes when you’re away from home.
8. Hair gel:
You can use a dab of hand sanitizer to get you through the day.
9. Polish Silver
10. Use it in place of deodorant:
The reason armpits start to smell is bacteria. Which is why it makes perfect sense that rubbing hand sanitizer in your armpits will keep you smelling fresh when you forget to roll on your roll-on.
11. Clean your flat iron:
If you haven’t cleaned the surface of your flat iron in a while, grab your hand sanitizer and get to work. The iron can be coated not only with hair products but bacteria. After the iron cools down, smear on some hand sanitizer, wait a few minutes, and then wipe it clean.
12. Clean your keyboards:
Did you realize that your keyboard can be just as dirty as a toilet seat? To address the keyboard problem, keep your hands clean, and wipe your keyboard with hand sanitizer on a cloth—preferably microfiber. Be sure to unplug it or turn it off first.
13. Wipe down a public toilet seat
14. Remove nail polish
15. Eliminate fingerprints on stainless steel
16. Clean your diamond ring:
While not all gemstones are candidates for cleaning by hand sanitizer, diamonds can withstand the process and the results will be sparkling. Avoid using sanitizer if the setting is gold- or silver-plated.
