PELUANG PEMERIKSAAN MATA MENYELURUH SECARA PERCUMA*

Slot janji temu pemeriksaan mata percuma* bersama pelajar klinikal Ijazah Sarjana Muda Optometri UiTM di UiVC telah dibuka bermula dari 6 Oktober 2025 sehingga 22 Januari 2026 pada setiap hari Isnin hingga Rabu.

Waktu sesi pemeriksaan bagi setiap klinik di UiVC adalah seperti berikut:
✅ Klinik Optometri Primer: Isnin - Rabu
✅ Klinik Kanta Sentuh : Isnin – Rabu
✅ Klinik Penglihatan Terhad: Isnin (Sesi pagi sahaja)
✅ Klinik Pediatrik Optometri : Selasa (Sesi pagi sahaja)
✅ Klinik Terapi Visual : Rabu (Sesi pagi sahaja)

Nota: *Setiap pelanggan (kecuali pelajar UiTM, warga emas berumur 60 tahun ke atas dan pemegang kad OKU) hanya dikenakan caj pendaftaran RM 10 sekali setahun. Tiada caj konsultasi akan dikenakan untuk pemeriksaan bersama pelajar klinikal.

Day 1 – 26 August 2025

The first day of the Seminar & Workshop: Specialty Contact Lens successfully took place on 26th August 2025 at UiTM Puncak Alam, focusing on Module 1: Soft Toric and RGP Toric Contact Lens. The program began with an opening ceremony officiated by Dr. Nur Sabrina Subri, Coordinator for the Centre for Optometry Studies, Faculty of Health Sciences, UiTM

The sessions continued with an insightful presentation by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Noor Ezailina Badaruddin on Soft Toric Contact Lens, covering aspects of fitting, evaluation, and prescribing. This was followed by a session on RGP Toric Contact Lens delivered by Dr. Noor Haziq Saliman, providing an in-depth discussion on clinical fitting and evaluation techniques. Participants also received valuable updates on RGP lenses from Menicon.

The day concluded with an engaging demo and hands-on session, allowing participants to apply their knowledge in a practical setting. Thank you to all speakers, participants, and contributors for making the first day a success.

Day 3 – 28 August 2025

The final day of the Seminar & Workshop: Specialty Contact Lens concluded successfully on 28th August 2025, with Module 3 dedicated to Keratoconus Contact Lenses. The day began with an introduction and an overview of the epidemiology of corneal ectasia presented by Dr. Noor Haziq Saliman, followed by current updates on keratoconus lens technology shared by Menicon and Brighten Optix.

The program continued with a comprehensive session on fitting, evaluation, and prescribing for keratoconus led by Puan Safira Zainal. Participants also received the latest updates on keratoconus contact lens innovations from Mandarin Opto-Medic before engaging in the final hands-on session of the event.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all speakers, industry partners, and participants for their active involvement and commitment throughout this three-day seminar. We hope the knowledge and skills gained will continue to benefit your clinical practice.

Day 2 – 27 August 2025

The second day of the Seminar & Workshop: Specialty Contact Lens was held on 27 August 2025 with Module 2 focusing on Prosthetic and Multifocal Contact Lenses. The program commenced with an informative session on Prosthetic Contact Lenses, followed by an in-depth discussion on Multifocal Contact Lens fitting, evaluation, and prescribing, presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Afzam Shah Abdul Rahim.

Participants were then introduced to the latest advancements in multifocal soft contact lenses through updates shared by Mandarin Opto-Medic and SEED. The day continued with a comprehensive hands-on session that provided participants with practical experience to strengthen their clinical skills.
