UKCC berbesar hati dijemput menghadiri pelancaran Modul Asuhan dan Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Autisme (MANJA) di Universiti Malaya.

Pelancaran modul ini merupakan satu langkah besar dalam memperkukuh sokongan awal bagi kanak-kanak autisme di Malaysia, khususnya bagi usia seawal 0 hingga 4 tahun. Dibangunkan berasaskan penyelidikan oleh Fakulti Pendidikan Universiti Malaya dengan sokongan Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM) dan Jabatan Pembangunan Orang Kurang Upaya (JPOKU), Modul MANJA menekankan pendekatan neurodiversiti yang menghargai kekuatan dan potensi setiap anak.

Kami di UKCC amat menyokong usaha ini kerana ia selari dengan misi kami dalam membantu perkembangan kanak-kanak melalui intervensi awal yang efektif dan penuh empati.

Dengan penyerahan rasmi kepada JKM, inisiatif ini membuka jalan kepada impak yang lebih luas bermula dari TASKA hingga ke komuniti di seluruh negara.

Through sensory sand play, our students explore different textures while strengthening fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and finger control—all essential foundations for writing and daily self-care skills.
This activity also supports focus, emotional regulation, creativity, and helps children feel calm and engaged in a safe learning environment. For children with additional needs, sensory play plays a key role in building confidence and body awareness.

Honoured to attend the Sambutan Hari OKU Peringkat Kebangsaan in Putrajaya yesterday as a representative of Persatuan Dyslexia Malaysia.

The courage, talent, and insights shared by our OKU community were deeply inspiring. Events like this remind us that inclusion must be more than a celebration — it must be a continuous commitment.

From accessible classrooms to supportive work environments, Malaysia’s journey toward true inclusivity begins with understanding, collaboration, and action.

As someone who works closely with children through early intervention at UKCC, I see every day how the right support can transform a child’s future. Yesterday’s event reaffirmed the importance of ensuring no child or adult is left behind.

Thank you to the Ministry for organizing such a meaningful evening.
