โค๏ธโLearn to save, live to careโ Health Talk Successfully Held at Kuala Pilah
Mawar Medical Centre was invited to give insightful health talk at Eng Choon Kong So, Kuala Pilah, bringing valuable health knowledge and first aid skills to the public.
๐จโโ๏ธ Dr. Ng Min Yeong, Cardiologist at Mawar Medical Centre, emphasized the importance of recognizing early symptoms of heart disease, such as chest pain and shortness of breath during physical activity. He encouraged regular, moderate exercise to support heart health and aid in early detection.
๐จโโ๏ธ Dr. Low Jer Wei, General Surgeon at Mawar Medical Centre, discussed the early detection of colorectal cancer. He recommended f***l occult blood testing as a first-line screening tool, with further investigation advised if abnormalities are detected to prevent disease progression.
๐ซถ A live demonstration of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) was also conducted to raise public awareness about emergency response.
