Qualified Audiologists
In Malaysia, 20dB prides itself for having one or more qualified audiologists in each outlet as compared to many others in the country that have no audiologist. At 20dB, audiologists who have an average of five years’ experience are on hand to do diagnostic tests to evaluate if one actually has a hearing loss and, if so, to what degree. They would choose the right hearing instruments that fit customer’s needs and also do hearing instruments fitting. For the follow-up sessions, 20dB audiologists will attentively listen to their customer sharing his or her new hearing experience and then, when necessary, fine-tune the hearing instruments until they work optimally for the user.
At 20dB, clients are meticulously diagnosed by professionally trained audiologists whereby systematic tests are carried out to precisely identify the nature of hearing problem including its cause, where possible, pinpoint the site of lesion, and measure the degree of hearing loss.
Nationwide Support
Most hearing service centres in Malaysia are not equipped to provide diagnostic hearing tests especially for infants and children.
Many people are not aware that even newborns may have some degree of hearing disability. It is thus important for infants to go through a hearing screening (now implemented at some hospitals in Malaysia). This is to ensure that any hearing defect is identified as soon as possible so that the infants can receive early intervention services that can make a huge difference to their communication and language development.

Customers who travel or relocate can go to any 20dB outlet in Malaysia that is convenient for them to seek complimentary consultation and product service. They can even visit several 20dB outlets to get second or further opinions from different audiologists. Hearing Aid Trial
To know if any hearing aid is right for a customer, 20dB’s free take-home trial allows him or her to try it out at home up to 20 days to experience if it makes any difference to one’s life. Customers can try the hearing aids with no risk and no obligation. If they are not happy with the results, they can return the products, pay nothing, and walk away.
