February is Low Vision Awareness Month, a time to understand what it means to live with vision loss that cannot be fully corrected by glasses, contact lenses, or surgery.
For many people, simple tasks like reading a menu, recognising loved ones, or walking safely outside can become daily challenges. One patient shared how brighter lighting and magnifiers helped them regain confidence and independence proving that support and early care truly matter.

Pusat Hemodialisis Mawar (PHM), is an independent charitable organization officiated in 1997 with a mission to improve the health and quality of life of people living with kidney disease. It was funded by the people of Negeri Sembilan and aided with government grants. Mawar Medical Centre (MMC), a division of PHM was established. It is a non-profit specialist medical centre on 15th January 2008 as a non-profit specialist medical centre. Over the years, PHM and MMC have grown to be at the forefront of charitable, affordable and quality healthcare.
