Columbia Asia Hospital Seremban is the company’s first acute care hospital in the country when it opened in 1999. It is located in Oakland Commercial Center in Seremban 2. This new township boasts a population of 500 thousand. The hospital is located some 60 km south of Kuala Lumpur, near the North-South Highway. As a community multi-disciplinary hospital, it serves not only Seremban but also Nilai, Senawang and the latest township situated near Seremban 2 -- Bandar Baru Sendayan. The hospital also has over 30 specialists as well as 300 staff members in nursing and support services. Building Knowledge, Strengthening Partnerships

Columbia Asia Hospital Taiping recently conducted an exclusive Basic Pharmacy Training under the GP Affiliate Program, welcoming clinic assistants from Klinik Dr. Sudha, Tan Cheng Leng Clinic, Klinik M.G. Lim, and Poliklinik Choong & Lim.

The training aimed to equip participants with essential pharmacy knowledge — from recognizing high-alert and look-alike medications to learning proper dispensing methods aligned with professional standards. Our pharmacy team also shared best practices for ensuring patient safety and accuracy in medication handling.

On the second day, participants had the opportunity to tour our pharmacy and hospital facilities, gaining valuable insights into real-world hospital pharmacy operations.

This program not only enhances the competency of clinic assistants but also strengthens collaboration between our hospital and GP clinics, which play a vital role in coordinated patient care.

Columbia Asia Hospital Klang recently hosted a GP MedTalk titled “Transforming Care: Clinical Insights in Cardiovascular and Diabetes Management."

The insightful session featured two engaging topics — “Mastering the Glycaemic Triad in High-Risk T2DM” by Consultant Internal Medicine Physician & Nephrologist Dr. T. Kalaiselvam Thevandran, and “A Call to Action on Uncontrolled Hypertension” by Consultant Internal Medicine Physician & Cardiologist Dr. Kogulakrishnan Kaniappan.

The event saw an encouraging turnout, with over 40 general practitioners in attendance. Both speakers shared in-depth clinical updates, best practices, and evidence-based approaches to managing complex cardiovascular and diabetic conditions.

The session provided an excellent platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration between our consultants and GPs, fostering stronger partnerships to improve patient outcomes in the community.

On July 23, 2025, we were delighted to welcome 30 agents from Great Eastern Life to Columbia Asia Hospital Cheras for an exclusive Hospital Tour and Meet & Greet Session. The visit offered an inside look at our facilities, services, and medical expertise — fostering stronger collaboration and deeper understanding between our teams.

The session began with a warm welcome and opening by our Regional CEO Pn. Engku Marina Engku Hatim, followed by an insightful introduction to the hospital by COO Mr. Sean Yoong Yik Xiang. In the morning, visitors enjoyed complimentary mini health screenings for glucose, blood pressure, and cholesterol. The afternoon brought lively energy with our Balance Games Challenge!
