关于肺炎链球菌疫苗(pneumococcal vaccine)你需要知道的事：

你们知道其实在马来西亚有几种不同的肺炎链球疫苗吗？

这个疫苗为什么重要？ 因为它是导致小朋友中肺炎，中耳炎， 脑膜炎等的主要嫌疑犯。 很多研究都显示当我们加入这个疫苗后，小朋友需要入院的机率大大降低。

所以在2020 年底，很幸运的我们国家也把它列入必须注射的疫苗之一。

但是其实我们市场上有几种不同的疫苗：
Prevenar 13 vs PCV15 vs Prevenar 20

这几种疫苗差别主要在于 可以预防多少种血清型。

Prevenar 13
-可以预防 13 种肺炎链球菌。

Vaxneuvance (PCV15)
-在 Prevenar 13 的基础上
多保护 2 种血清型（22F、33F）
（所以总共 15 种）

Prevenar 20
这是目前覆盖最多的疫苗。
也就是比PCV 15 多5 种血清型 （8，10A，11A，12F，15B）
（总共 20 种肺炎链球菌）

简单来说：数字越大，保护范围越广。

至于为什么会有新的疫苗一直出现呢？ 因为当prevenar 13 被广泛推行时，它所覆盖的病菌就会变种。 就有一点像covid 时期我们需要打加强剂来对付变种的病毒一样。

那对你的孩子有什么影响呢？

现在我们在政府诊所注射的是prevenar 13.
如果要更全面的保护，我们会鼓励打prevenar 20. 但是需要看小朋友的年龄与本身的疫苗时间表而定。

比如说： 您的小孩已经在政府诊所注射了3次prevenar 13, 我们鼓励在2岁以上给一支prevenar 20 加强剂。

又比如您的孩子少过4个月，还没在政府诊所注射， 您可以选择在私人诊所注射prevenar 20. 其他疫苗继续在KK注射。

如果已经打了一支或2支prevenar 13/ pcv 15 的， 建议还是跟您的儿科医生商量。
