🤱🤱Tips for breastfeeding in public 🤱🤱
1. Dress for (nursing) success: Get a nursing bra and nursing dress, give baby easier access to their meal—and mommy feel more privacy with minimal exposure. Alternately, wear two-piece outfits, opt for shirts that button from the bottom up, lift up or pull to the side easily. 😎
2. Nursing cover: A lot of nursing cover offer in market nowadays, just cover over our shoulders so that it drapes over baby's head. To make sure they have room for easy feeding and breathing (and doesn’t get overheated), be sure it’s well-ventilated. 😄
3. Practice: Before head out, have baby latch on while mommy can watch in the mirror to see how much exposure you're getting, or ask daddy or family member to observe. 🤔
4. Baby sling: A sling makes public breastfeeding extremely discreet (people will just think baby is snoozing) and incredibly convenient.👶😴
5. Nursing room: Many public places, including large stores, shopping malls, airports and even amusement parks, now offer special nursing rooms complete with comfy chairs and changing tables.😚
6. Feed before the frenzy: Don't let baby get so hungry then starts to fuss and cry. It's much easier to nurse discreetly if mommy and baby both are calm.😆
7. Know our mommy's nursing rights. And feel good about exercising them. Mummy should know we are within our rights to breastfeed baby anywhere, just like bottle feeding and spoon feeding solid food to our baby. Do what comes naturally.😁
Hope above tips will help all mommy nurse with comfort and confidence when we are not at home.
