The students joined our elderly residents in light exercises, tree planting, and fun games.

Their kindness and energy brought joy and companionship to everyone. We are very thankful to these students for spending their time with us and making the day so memorable!

The bathroom can be a tricky place for elderly people.

To keep them safe, here are some key things:
🚽grab bars and handrails near the toilet and shower help with balance.

🛁Non-slip mats stop slips.

🚿Commode chairs are great for those who need extra help and support in mobility.

Small changes like these can make a big difference in safety and comfort!

At Woodrose Senior Residences, we want to keep our senior residents safe, and the toilet is a very important feature.

In fact, family members always come and take a look at our bathrooms because safety and comfort are our top priorities. 😊

Today is World Mental Health Day and we at Woodrose Senior Residences recently hosted a fun carrom competition for our residents.

Carrom is not only a game but also a great way to keep the mind active and sharp.

Playing carrom helps improve focus, hand-eye coordination, and social connection - all important for good mental health, especially for the elderly.

We are proud to support our residents in staying healthy in both body and mind.

A big thank you to the Diploma in Nursing students from University of Wollongong, UOW Malaysia for visiting Woodrose Senior Residences as part of their Community Engagement Program.
