💖 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗶 𝗞𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘀𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗞𝗲 𝟲𝟴, 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗮 🇲🇾

This year I wanted to do something a little different. I had the privilege to be invited to join a community plogging (pick up + jogging) around Subang Jaya. Together with Yayasan Buddhist Tzu Chi Malaysia, several schools, the office of YB Michelle Ng Mei Sze 黄美诗, the Mayor of Subang Jaya YBhg Dato’ Amirul Azizan bin Dato’ Sri Abd Rahim, and the office of Councillor Tuan Ar Kamarul Hisham Hj Yeop Hashim (MPP Zone 4), it was inspiring to see everyone come together for the love of this city.

The day began very early and went on for many hours, covering so much of Subang Jaya. It was heartening to see young and old, people from all walks of life 👴🏻👵🏻🧑🏻👩🏻, united with the same spirit ❤️‍🔥. For me, it was a reminder of my school days when giving to the community was second nature. Even now, rolling up my sleeves and getting my hands dirty alongside others gave me that same sense of youthful energy again 💪🏻.

Giving back has always been close to my heart ❤️. Over the years I have always believed in serving the community whether through energy, time or resources. Seeing the spirit of Subang Jaya alive in its people is truly a blessing 🌸. To play even a small part in this collective effort is something I value deeply. This experience is my way of celebrating our 𝟔𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐤𝐚 by continuing a journey of service that has always guided me 🙏🏻. Di musim yang penuh keberkatan ini, 我想分享一些在 Ramadan 期间学到的宝贵经验—bukan sekadar tentang puasa, tapi tentang kehidupan.

🌸 Raya bukan hanya perayaan, tapi peringatan tentang disiplin, empati, persahabatan, dan kemurahan hati 🌸.

Empat (4) perkara yang saya pelajari tahun ini:

1️⃣ 𝐒𝐲𝐮𝐤𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐡 𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐡𝐢𝐝𝐮𝐩: 太容易把一切视为理所当然, but this season reminds us to truly appreciate every nikmat, besar atau kecil.

2️⃣ 𝐒𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐤 𝐤𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧: Ramadan mengajar我, whether it’s fasting, waiting for rezeki, or facing challenges, kesabaran sentiasa membawa kematangan 🌱.

3️⃣ 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐤𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐢 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐰𝐚 𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐤𝐚𝐭: 从分享食物到帮助有需要的人, even a small act of kindness boleh memberi impak besar.

4️⃣ 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐤𝐚𝐧 𝐤𝐢𝐭𝐚: 朋友的陪伴与支持, the laughter, and the moments we share during this festive season remind us betapa pentingnya sahabat sejati dalam hidup.

🌍✨ 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 & 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐀 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤 ✨🌍

Recently, I had the privilege of speaking at the 𝐔𝐊 𝐀𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐢 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫-𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭—a celebration of the 65th Anniversary of Commonwealth Scholarships in Malaysia—hosted by the British Council Malaysia. Despite a demanding schedule that required me to travel from afar, I was honored to accept the invitation and be part of this meaningful occasion.

The venue was abuzz with energy, filled with a fascinating mix of influential figures and everyday changemakers—all united by a shared passion for addressing planetary health. It was both humbling and inspiring to see so many engaged minds gathered to explore how we can collectively create a healthier and more sustainable world.
