One way to grow your social media following is by using IG Story format.

Use videos and photos that are engaging, but not too long. You want your content to be interesting enough that people stop scrolling through their stories and start watching what you have to say.

I’m going to tell you a story.

Once upon a time, I was that person. An absolute social media marketing prodigy. I post anything in stories without a strategy in mind. I sometimes repost my posts. Most of the time I post anything that came to my mind.

But then one day, I decided to attend this class on social media, I had to pay a lot , but I was determined. I paid for it. I wanted to find something else: something more meaningful, something that would make me feel like I was actually making a difference in in helping people.

I found myself connecting to more people all over the world. People who are like minded. People who understand, people who are like me. I loved being able to help people get sales just the way they liked it, and seeing them smile when they got exactly what they wanted.

Here are the things I did to help me reach more people (in stories):-

✅ Try to share 40% casual and normal stuffs about you, 40% informational and 20% promotional
✅ Keep the most important elements and details at the center so that people dont miss the message out!
✅ Use at least one or two engagement sticker per day
✅ Always have the end in mine which is to BUILD TRUST, STAND OUT, AND STAY ON TOP OF MIND

Owh yaa! Make sure each post includes a caption that describes what's going on in the photo, why it's relevant to them (the reader), and how they can relate to it. The 3 Biggest Content Creation Mistakes You Can Easily Avoid🎉.

⛔️ Too many product picture and price as daily postings
Most people create contents with an end in mind. When we post, we want people to engage. When people really engage, people will buy whatever you sell. 💯 .
Using the mix Value Added Posts, Connect and Promote does help in building your audience and eventually have your own community. Daily promo is something we should avoid. Tell a story, what is behind your business, what are the transformation. Show some behind the scenes of your work and let your audience see how you do your work...
CAVEAT: Make sure you analyse your contents in insights, sometimes micro contents brings your page to more people and keep a note and keep on creating. I posted a psychology fact (which has nothing to my niche) a few days ago and my reach grew 2500%. The truth is, we never really know what works until we experiment our own contents. But keep these points in check:
✨Always tell relatable stories in your contents
✨Do thorough research on your content & niche. Spend 1/2 a day in a week just for this
✨Write engaging captions. Like literally put your heart into it 😄

Master the Art of Reaching More Audience within your Niche on Insta! 🥳.
I have been on IG for many many years.. Some people grow very fast, it didn’t happen to me, due to many reasons 😇.
☑️ I was engrossed with growing other people’s accounts (aka my clients)
☑️ I let the testimonies speak for me. I thought by doing that I could still get more clients
☑️ I was procrastinating.
Even though I could still get more clients by word of mouth marketing, it doesn’t take too much time for me to be visible on social media 🤓. Just show up, be human and you still get another form of funnel which is the instagram itself. I realised that there are so many beautiful souls behind many instagram accounts. I really made friends. I really made connections 🥰..

Part of courage is simple consistency 🥳..
So it is another MCO tomorrow! Some are disheartened, some are pumped up and some get used to it 🙂..
Growing your own business sometimes is tiring. I know what it feels like working on projects and we all know how it feels like the dedication, the amount of work that you are putting in but the results isn’t there yet 😉

STRATEGIES TO HOOK YOUR AUDIENCE TO YOUR PAGE

✅ Information sharing

Share knowledge based info that would entice your audience to your page. It could be make-up tips, cooking tips or even weight loss hacks. The most important thing is you want to provide value to your audience so that they keep coming back to you.

✅ Crebility posts.

It is enticing to some if you show some data including statistics or powerful testimonials from your customers. This will gain more awareness and trust towards your brand. If you are new, just try posting a few and find out which one works for you. Remember quantity is better than quality. Post as much as you can, learn the patterns later.

✅ Inspirational.

When you speak about your own story and the end in mind that your audience really wants, with authencity, you will have people following your page for no reason. Find the most inspiring, be relatable and authentic. Become your audience. Understand their problems and pains. How can your service be of help to them.

✅ Entertaining.

Social media is a place to relax people's mind and actually having fun. Dont be shy trying funny reels once in a while but always provide VALUE to your audience.

I remember when I first started creating content for , gosh, it was awful! I didn’t even know what to sell!⁣⁣

I wasn’t a great designer (I’m still not).⁣⁣
⁣⁣I wasn’t a great copywriter.⁣⁣
⁣⁣I wasn’t a great storyteller.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
⁣I keep on telling myself. Just be consistent.
So that’s what I did. It was down to me to practice, practice, practice.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
We all know that there really is no secrets sauce to becoming an expert content creator.⁣⁣
It takes a lot of work, a lot of analysis, a lot of refinement and a lot of failure. But when you fail, analyze again.
⁣⁣
And if you aren’t willing to do those things on repeat then you’re never going to go anywhere!⁣⁣

⁣⁣Here’s another reminder to stop comparing your first piece of content to someone who’s been doing it for months/years.⁣⁣

Engagement is more than counting your views or followers. It's about measuring the interactions that your audience makes with your content. On IG, engagement is measured by a range of metrics..
Find repetetive topics, competitor hashtags or even customer hashtags. This can lead to your ideal customer that you have been waiting for!.
Simple highlights are always the best! Do not crown your IG with thousands of stories nobody needs to see. Just always show up, and say something about you, your current offer and your testimonials, maybe?.
This is important ya, always get your signature photo that matches your unique coloes and brand identity. Be consistent with stories and lives!

Encourage your audience to turn on post notifications. so that you do not RELY on Algorithm!.

Do you still randomly send DMs to anybody? How many random DMs you send per day? Do you find that tiring?

Hmm… Lst’s try something new. Here are some much effective ways to try and connect with your followers. Socialize! You. jus.need.to.do.that!

Actual human interactions are still the best! Talk about similarities you have with your followers, and build relationship here in social media.

I have been ghost posting for a while now I want to change that. I have been trying this (for a few months) and I started to feel like it is growing my account as well!

A verified badge is a basically check that appears next to an Instagram account's name in search and on the profile. 😋
Apa maksudnya tu? It means Instagram has confirmed that an account is the authentic presence of the public figure, celebrity or global brand it represents 😋
In other words, Instagram’s way to verify that you are who you say you are. The main reason for having verified accounts is to combat let’s say fake or scam accounts
By being a verified account, it means that Instagram will increase the chances of your posts to be seen more, discovered more and reach to more people
Another benefit is that helps with social proof, having a blue icon next to your profile, removes any suspicion from prospects and reassures users to follow you as this will make you come across genuine and authentic

You’re upset your story views went down? Read this on 👇

When my views are down, it’s usually because I’m not consistent with posting during my audiences peak time (especially during this fasting month, forgive me) or I’m posting in bunches and then ghosting for long stretches.

Part of this may be because your audience wants to see your face and interact with you the person, not just post shares and stickers, the data is telling you to show up more as a human.

But if you’re doing that and still stuck, Then try something like this:

8:00a - Post a todo list
10:00a - Share a tip that will help your audience
12:00p - Mid day break - share something that you’re doing to break up your day
2:00p - Go live or ask a question
4:00p - Progress check on your ToDo
6:00p - Share a tip
8:00p - Respond to those question or poll stickers
10:00p - night cap - Daily Summary recap

Of course this is just an example, but adapt it to what your niche wants and what times work best for you and you’ll see your views go up.
