AIMS Therapy and Learning Centre is the only Islamic therapy centre that offers QurANIS (AL Quran for Children With Special Needs) in Shah Alam. We offer One Stop Centre services comprising Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, therapeutic group learning activities as well as AL Quran and Islamic Practices to children and teenagers aged 4 to 18 years old. Our expertise is to help stimulate the growth and increase the discipline and focus level of children and teenagers so that they are able to maximise their potentials more effectively. We strive to mould loyal servants of Allah and independent as well as responsible caliphs.

Hi Assalamualaikum everyone.

Last Thursday, we went to Pusat Sains Negara for our outdoor activity. It was fun and very informative. We saw Dinosaurs !!! They were HUGEEE 🦕 There's also sections about our human body, science experiments, musics and more!

We also got the chance to build our own book shelf using PVC pipe, learn string art, and learn how to fix door k**b using proper tools! 👷🏼‍♂️🔧🛠️

Lastly, all of us had Fried Chicken 🍗 for lunch. yummyyyy 😋

"Nak Cuba Ajar Anak Istimewa Belajar Al Quran?"

Jawapannya , boleh. Sangat digalakkan. Mereka pun ada hak seperti kita untuk belajar kalam Allah. Boleh cuba empat kaedah pengajaran
dibawah ini sebagai permulaan.

1) Kaedah IQRA'
Kaedah IQRA' adalah kaedah yang begitu pop**ar dan familiar bagi kita sejak kecil lagi. Boleh gunakan kaedah IQRA' jika kita rasakan anak anak istimewa sesuai dengannya.

2) Pengajaran MUQADDAM
Apa beza kaedah IQRA' dan MUQADDAM?
Jika IQRA', peringkat pengajian buku IQRA' ada beberapa peringkat dari buku 1 hingga ke buku 6. IQRA' sangat sesuai untuk kita berlatih cara penuturan sebutan setiap makhraj huruf dengan betul. Manakala MUQADDAM p**a adalah sedikit ringkasan daripada buku IQRA'. Jika anak istimewa cepat catch up pembelajaran yang diajar, boleh cuba gunakan MUQADDAM kerana ia akan terus melatih anak anak membaca ayat pendek dari AL QURAN apabila telah mengenal baris asas dalam AL QURAN.

Bagaimana p**a dengan pengajaran 3 dan 4?
Kami akan berkongsi p**a dua kaedah ini nanti.

Assalamualaikum everyone!
It's sharing time for Al Quran and Ibadah Lesson.

So today, as usual Khadeeja akan revise semula all the hijaiyah alphabet yang telah dipelajari sebelum ini.

And today Teacher Aida gunakan educational toys 'Creating Mosaic' as bahan bantu mengajar for Khadeeja.

Khadeeja perlu gunakan rubber band, pick starting point dari alphabet yang disebut Teacher Aida and thennn kita tarikkkkk.
Haaa nak tarik kemana tu???
Khadeeja perlu tarik rubber band to the next point yang ada sticker alphabet yang disebut Teacher.
Nampak mudah kan 😌😌😌

Tapi, this activity actually akan ajar our kids a few things:
1️⃣ Melatih fine motor anak2
2️⃣ Encourage them to do by themselves
3️⃣ Tak cepat putus asa
4️⃣Pick alphabet based on their memorisation and recognisation

Kalau kita nampak anak2 dah mula bosan apabila banyak guna pen and paper, maybe boleh cuba tukar to other material p**a.
Same purpose with different method.

Here's a video, of our student Ammar, solving a puzzles. It was difficult at first for him to complete it himself, but with a little help from Teacher, Alhamdulillah, he learn the correct way of doing it.

Prompting (or assistance) is important at first, but once they master or obtain a certain skills, prompting should be removed or reduced so that the child begin to perform skills independently.

Never stop believing! Always guide them, show them the right way.
