Integrated Management System (IMS) Internal Audit Training on ISO 9001:2015 and FSSC 22000 AT Malaya Glass Products Sdn. Bhd.
A 2 day training, Integrated Management System (IMS) Internal Audit Training on ISO 9001:2015 and FSSC 22000 at Malaya Glass Products Sdn Bhd On 9–10 October 2025, by a certified trainer from PHEIO Management Sdn Bhd, Puan Amirah Emran.
The training aimed to equip participants with the knowledge and tools to drive operational excellence and compliance. Recognizing Malaya Glass Products Sdn Bhd, a leading Malaysian manufacturer of high-quality glass containers for the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and consumer goods sectors.
The training began with an overview of the key principles and audit requirements of ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000, setting the foundation for understanding integrated management systems. Participants then explored the management of an audit program, including how to plan and schedule audits, define objectives and scope, and select appropriate audit methods.
In the audit preparation phase, emphasis was placed on selecting competent audit teams, reviewing relevant documentation, and developing effective audit checklists. The ex*****on phase covered the conduct of opening meetings, communication techniques during audits, and methods for gathering objective audit evidence.
The session also addressed audit reporting, focusing on identifying non-conformities and observations, and writing clear, actionable audit reports and non-conformance records (NCRs). The final segment of the training covered post-audit activities, including root cause analysis, corrective action follow-up, NCR response techniques, and internal audit performance review.
By the end of the training, participants were able to:
- Plan and manage internal audits effectively
- Develop and apply structured audit checklists
- Conduct audits using internationally recognized best practices
- Assess compliance based on objective evidence
- Write clear and concise audit reports and NCRs
- Contribute to continual improvement through robust internal audit practices
