Because Every Beat Matters — Real Skills, Real Lives 💙​

Our recent Basic Life Support (BLS) Workshop at Columbia Asia Hospital Bukit Rimau reminded us why these trainings are so important. It’s not just about passing a test — it’s about being prepared to act when every second counts.​

Our recent Basic Ultrasound Workshop brought together passionate healthcare professionals eager to sharpen their skills and gain valuable hands-on experience.​

Guided by our expert speakers — Dr. Rama Krishna (Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist) and Dr. Izazul Hussin (Consultant Interventional Radiologist) — participants explored practical ultrasound applications, from neck and abdominal scans to pelvic imaging, all with real models for a truly immersive learning experience.​

In conjunction with Breastfeeding Week 2025, we were delighted to host our Antenatal Class on August 16 at Columbia Asia Hospital - Bukit Rimau. It was a beautiful morning of learning, sharing, and connecting — designed to help expectant parents feel more confident and empowered as they prepare to welcome their little ones. 💙​

Our heartfelt thanks to our dedicated speakers, Ms. Subahshini Chandran (Dietitian) and Ms. Yanti Mohamed Sanni (Nurse Manager), together with our invited speakers who shared their expertise and guided participants through this important journey. From understanding breastfeeding nutrition to preparing for labor, every session was filled with invaluable insights and practical advice.​

We were pleased to welcome GP doctors from Setia Alam and Klang once again for an engaging and hands-on CME session at Columbia Asia Hospital - Klang, led by our Consultant Radiologist, Dr. Laxmanshri Jaya Prahaspathiji.

Titled “Sonographic Appearances of Common Disorders of the Urinary System,” the session covered practical topics such as KUB infections, renal and bladder tumors, cysts, calculi, prostate conditions, and more. Attendees walked away with valuable ultrasound tips they can apply in their daily clinical practice — with the highlight being a live, hands-on demonstration using a real subject.

A big thank you to Dr. Laxmanshri for his clear and practical teaching, and to all the GP doctors who attended and contributed to the session. It’s always a pleasure learning and growing together.
