Sakthi School of Yoga Makes History at 11th International Yoga Day

Under the visionary leadership of Master S.K. Durai, the Sakthi School of Yoga proudly hosted its 11th International Yoga Day celebration on 21st June 2025 at MAEPS, Serdang, setting a new Malaysia Book of Records for the largest yoga session with 5,368 active participants and 6,098 total registrations, including international attendees from Singapore and India.

The event was flawlessly executed by 130 dedicated committee members, comprising teachers and students, and featured vibrant cultural performances including urumi melam, Mayilattam, Karagattam, and Silambam.

The yoga session showcased inclusivity across generations, from kids’ and senior yoga to the emotionally resonant pregnancy yoga performance. Highlights included Surya Namaskaram, the powerful Sakthi Kriya, and a dynamic Ramayana-themed yoga display.

More than just a record-breaking event, it was a celebration of unity, wellness, and cultural pride.
