We are in the era of Digital Health Technology. In this fast-changing world, Patients and Consumers are actively seeking information on health and purchasing medicines online. Pharmacists, as the most accessible Healthcare Profession and Frontliners in Primary HealthCare, need to evolve too, by digitally providing accurate, reliable, and quality information about Preventive, Promotive, Curative, Rehabilitative and Palliative Care. As Guardians of Medicine, pharmacists need to provide Medication Managements and Self-Care Managements too via Telepharmacy.
Pharmacists must therefore be well-equipped with the fundamental knowledge of Digital Health Technology and specifically Telepharmacy. Having a Brick-and-Mortar Community Pharmacy presence is no longer sufficient to provide counselling, consultations, and advice to your patients. Digitalisation in Pharmacy Practice is no longer an option, but a necessity.
The Objective of Rhazes Youth Ambassador Programme is to provide fundamental knowledge to youth pharmacists from higher institutions on how to collaborate with your future patients using Telepharmacy, digital health technologies and digital marketing. You will undergo a structured and evidence-based virtual learning experience.
