This 61 year old lady presented with brow ptosis and dermatochalasis. I performed a brow lift and upper blepharoplasty (upper eyelid surgery) and here she is seen on post-operative Day 5.

One caveat to achieve natural and lasting results in periorbital surgery is to never perform upper eyelid surgery alone when the brow is low (brow ptosis) because this will later cause the eyelids to droop more paradoxically.

While fillers are a great option for many, it’s crucial to prioritize balance and moderation. Ethical practitioners must know when to stop and not continue recommending fillers indefinitely. Additionally, some fillers can’t be fully dissolved with hyaluronidase, and certain materials like Sculptra and Radiesse may require surgical intervention if complications arise.
