POSITION: Account Assistant (Full Time)
We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Account Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the accounting department, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily financial operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to grow their career in accounting.
Responsibilities
• Assist with the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Maintain and update financial records and databases.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing and payment inquiries.
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting team.
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Manage HRDF Claim
Requirements
• Minimum a high school diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in a similar role or as an accounting intern.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with financial regulations and procedures.
• Certification in bookkeeping or accounting.
