MMA was honoured to be invited as a speaker at the Monthly Assembly Briefing Session organised by the Selangor State Health Department (JKNS) on 29 January 2026 at Auditorium Dahlia, Masjid Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah, Shah Alam.

Dr. Muhammad Gowdh attended as the MMA Selangor representative, while Dr. Arulnathan also joined the event.

The session served as a meaningful platform for knowledge sharing, professional engagement, and strengthening collaboration in support of healthcare service delivery.

The Selangor State Level QA Convention, jointly organised by the Risk Management & Clinical Surveillance Branch, Medical Division of the Selangor State Health Department (JKNS) and MMA Selangor, was held from 13–15 January 2026 at the National Institutes of Health, Setia Alam, Selangor.

The convention was officiated by Datuk Dr Thirunavukarasu Rajoo, President of the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA). Also present were Dr L. Sivanaesan, the newly elected President-Elect of the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA); Dr Krishna Kumaran, Chairman of MMA Selangor; and Dr Faizal bin Mat Arifin, Deputy State Health Director (Medical), Selangor.

MMA believes that Quality Assurance (QA) is an essential component of patient safety and quality care, and remains fully committed to supporting these efforts
