A friendly visit by Dr. Sivanaesan Letchumanan, President-Elect of the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) 2025, at Hospital Banting in conjunction with the Deepavali celebration. The visit aimed to recognise and commend the unwavering dedication of healthcare professionals who continued to serve during the festive season, demonstrating exceptional commitment to patient care and professional excellence.

During the engagement, Dr. Sivanaesan interacted with medical officers, assistant medical officers, nurses, and support staff, conveying his appreciation and words of encouragement. Light festive refreshments were also shared as a gesture of gratitude. The visit reaffirmed MMA’s ongoing commitment to the welfare and morale of healthcare frontliners who serve the community with steadfast dedication throughout the year.

Our recent CSR initiative with MAHSA University was a resounding success, bringing together over 1,000 participants from the community, students, and professionals.

🤝 The collaboration not only strengthened community health and wellness but also provided MAHSA medical students with meaningful exposure to community medicine, professional networking, and the values of volunteerism.

✅ On 28th September 2025, the Community Outreach Project by Selangor MMA (COPSMMA) took place at Kampung Orang Asli Sungai Kelubi, Rawang.

Our team provided medical consultations for the residents, working together with the MMA Women’s Health Committee, IMU Cares, and the National Cancer Society of Malaysia to bring healthcare services closer to the community.

I took the opportunity to guide medical students in clinical examination; a small but meaningful way to nurture the next generation of doctors. Grateful to be part of this initiative and to all partners and volunteers who made it possible. 💙
