听说能够改善睡眠,黑眼圈会变不见;
听说坐了过后就能够每天上大号;

If you have elderly parents or grandparents at home, you’ve probably heard them say, “I’m going somewhere to try the free electric chair.”
Yes — there’s a group from China setting up booths in towns and cities across Malaysia, offering seniors free trials on these “electric massage/vibration chairs.”
They claim it can improve sleep and remove dark circles.
They claim it helps you go to the toilet regularly every day.
They claim it burns fat and helps you lose weight.
From 5AM to 3PM, every hour there’s a new session — 50 people per round.
They even serve you, make dumplings for you to eat, and create a very welcoming atmosphere.
50 machines, packed with elderly people lining up every day. It’s lively.
One machine sells for RM15,000.
And the key point? Free trial, no hard selling.
Honestly, after hearing all that, even I feel like going every day.
Let’s not even debate whether the machine actually works.
Do you know why they can afford to let people try it for free?
Shop rental.
Staff salaries.
Electricity bills.
Machine costs.
Sometimes even free food to make you happy.
So… where does the money come from?
Well…
The wool comes from the sheep.
That same machine sells on Taobao for around RMB2,000, but here they sell it for RM15,000. Sell just one machine, and they can probably cover a month of expenses.
“But they never pressured me to buy!”
Of course not.
You may not buy it today. But if you go there every day for three months, you’ll get used to it — and eventually, you might buy it.
They’re not selling the machine.
They’re selling a habit.
“But RM15,000 is too expensive. I don’t have that kind of money. And they said the free trial will continue for 3 years — why would I buy it?”
Three months later, they may tell you:
“The company is facing some issues and needs to leave soon. We’re offering the machine at half price.”
After three months of emotional connection, routine, and persuasion… would you buy it?
The ending?
Many elderly people end up paying RM8,000 for it — and they don’t dare tell their children.
The chair eventually becomes a clothes rack at home.
Try it once if you’re curious.
If you really want one, take a photo and ask your children to help you buy it online.
The most expensive things in life are often the ones that seem free.
