Not every meal can be shared at the dining table — some of our residents rely on tube feeding for their daily nutrition.
And that’s okay. ❤️

Our nurses and caregivers handle each feeding time with gentleness and patience — making sure every resident gets the care, comfort, and dignity they deserve.

We monitor their nutrition, keep the tubes clean, and always take our time to make sure they’re comfortable and calm.

🌟 A Journey of Hope and Healing at Avenue Medihome 🌟

When this resident was first admitted to our centre after a motor vehicle accident, he came in with a tracheostomy, Ryle’s tube, urine catheter, and was semi-conscious with only eye contact.

He also had multiple wounds on his hands and legs, which were carefully cleaned, dressed, and managed daily by our nursing team — and are now fully healed.

With continuous care, rehabilitation, and support from our dedicated team — including physiotherapists, nurses, and speech therapists — amazing progress has been made in just 1.5 months.

✅ His Ryle’s tube was removed — and he started eating on his own
✅ Urine catheter removed
✅ Tracheostomy taken off
✅ Now able to stand with assistance

We’re so proud of how far he’s come and grateful to be part of his recovery journey 💪❤️
