Reminiscing about that 1st night of DiREXES (1st Nov 2022). Sometimes, when organizing a course, it does not have to be all work and serious. To add an element of fun and games, we had a session called "disaster meals". Participants were divided into 5 groups, and then each of them took a cabutan bertuah to see what ingredients they would have. Then, they were tasked with cooking the given ingredients (with the help of a facilitator), from scratch! Among the ingredients were live chickens, rabbits, eels and fishes!

Participants were also given basic cooking materials. How basic you ask? Just some sabut kelapa, ferro rods, dry woods and some parang. None of those fancy cutleries. Now thats some challenge!

Overall, it was fun, and definitely was a night to be remembered!
