This past week, we had the pleasure of hosting Miao Qi, an enthusiastic medical student from International Medical University (IMU), for her GP clinical posting here at Southern Medical Clinic Setia Indah.

It’s always heartening to witness the next generation of doctors stepping into the field with such genuine interest and care for the community. Miao Qi brought youthful energy, eagerness to learn, and a kind heart in treating patients — reminding us all of why we chose this calling in the first place. 💉🩺❤️

At Southern Medical Clinic Setia Indah, we’re proud to have a team of doctors with diverse expertise and a shared passion for patient care. Here’s a little introduction to the friendly faces you’ll meet when you visit us:

Dr. Phuah Sheng
With years of experience in pain management and geriatric care, Dr. Phuah also holds professional certifications in occupational health and obstetrics & gynaecology. He brings a thoughtful and holistic approach to patient care.

Dr. Wong Chen Yee
Dr. Wong has a strong background in obstetrics & gynaecology and geriatric care, and is certified in occupational health. Patients appreciate her calm, empathetic manner and her dedication to women’s and elderly health.

Dr. Tan Siew Wei
Gentle and kind, especially with children, Dr. Tan has years of experience in paediatrics and a special interest in family medicine. She’s known for making her young patients (and their parents!) feel at ease.

Dr. Hng Wei Xuan
Also with a paediatric background and a keen interest in family medicine, Dr. Hng is approachable and attentive, ensuring every patient—young or old—feels heard and cared for.
