Columbia Asia Hospital Iskandar Puteri and Columbia Asia Hospital Tebrau were delighted to bring our Columbia Kids Club (CKC) members on an exciting trip to UK Farm, Kluang! 🚍✨

The children had a wonderful time exploring the farm and meeting animals such as deer, chickens, ducks, goats, cows, and more. They enjoyed feeding the animals, watching a live goat-milking demonstration, and later tasting the farm’s fresh goat’s milk.

The adventure continued as the kids visited the passionfruit orchard, where they learned how the fruits are grown and gained a deeper insight into farm life. To make the day even more special, they were also treated to a lively cultural performance by the Orang Asli, giving them the chance to experience something new and unique.

It was truly a day filled with fun, laughter, and discovery — a memorable outing where the children not only played but also learned about nature, animals, fruits, and culture.

Columbia Asia Hospital Iskandar Puteri recently played a friendly badminton match with our fellow colleagues from Columbia Asia Hospital Tebrau. It was an evening filled with lively rallies, laughter, and plenty of healthy competition on the court.

Adding more excitement to the match, our very own CEO, Dr. Ding Eng Li, and the CEO of Columbia Asia Hospital Tebrau, Dr. James Chong, also joined the game. Their participation brought extra spirit and highlighted the importance of staying active while having fun together.

Columbia Asia Hospital Tebrau recently teamed up with Pejabat Kesihatan Daerah Johor Bahru (Klinik Kesihatan Tebrau) to provide free Measles & Rubella (MR) vaccinations for children aged six months to below five years old.

Parents and little ones filled our hospital with cheerful energy as healthcare teams worked hand in hand to protect our community’s youngest members. Beyond needles and charts, it was a heartfelt effort to keep every child safe from preventable diseases — because prevention is always the best care.​

🌱 Driving Impact Through Collaboration 🌱

As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental Sustainability Initiative, Columbia Asia Hospital Klang organized “Cleaning the Beach, Healing the Earth” on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Pantai Remis, Jeram. This event was held in conjunction with our Environmental, Safety & Health, Infection Control, and Human Resources Open Day.

This initiative reflects our commitment not only to quality healthcare but also to the well-being of our community and the environment.

A total of 60 dedicated staff members came together to clean the beach and surrounding recreation area. After a quick 8 AM briefing, the team rolled up their sleeves — and by 10 AM, successfully collected 112.5 kg of trash, surpassing our target of 100 kg! 🧹👏​

We believe that small actions, when united, can create a meaningful impact. Through this program, we aim to encourage healthier habits, raise awareness on protecting natural resources, and foster a culture of care that extends beyond our hospital walls. 💙
