"Did you know Appendix Cancer is a thing? Neither did I!
A 1 in 1 million chance! Sadly, I found out the hard-way 🧡
On February 2nd, three days shy of my 42nd birthday I was diagnosed with Appendiceal Cancer. The picture of health on paper, years of careful eating, supplements, biohacking and BAM just like that CANCER.
For months I was dealing with nondescript symptoms ranging from fatigue, bloating, frequent urination, cystic acne leading to a full blown ruptured appendix with an abscess!
Low and behold five days post appendectomy the pathology report showed a 4.3 cm Goblet Cell Adenocarcinoma. I think I shocked just about everyone.
I'm still facing many unknowns, but what I do know is that my body and are strong, mind is clear, and the careful choices I have made for years will not be in vain. AND I have the best friends and family a girl can ask for.
As of now the cancer is stage 2 and on March 28th I will undergo a surgery that will conclusively diagnose the extent of this disease (or maybe lack there of disease 🤞🏻)
