Hands that create. Community that celebrates.
At LevasFlor, the forest inspires so much more than timber — it awakens talent, brings people together, and preserves our culture.
We held a special basketry and mat weaving workshop, where women, youth, and children from our community came together to learn, share, and create with their own hands. Using natural fibres, patience, and deep traditional knowledge, unique pieces were born — and even stronger bonds were formed.
There was training, hands-on practice, knowledge exchange… and of course, dancing and joy.
This is how we build a sustainable future: by valuing people, culture, and the resources that nature gives us.

Na LevasFlor, a floresta inspira muito mais do que madeira — ela desperta talento, une pessoas e preserva a nossa cultura.
Realizámos um encontro especial de cestaria e tecelagem de esteiras, onde mulheres, jovens e crianças da nossa comunidade se juntaram para aprender, partilhar e criar com as próprias mãos. Com fibras naturais, paciência e muito saber tradicional, nasceram peças únicas — e laços ainda mais fortes.
Houve formação, prática, troca de conhecimentos… e claro, também houve dança e alegria.
É assim que construímos um futuro sustentável: valorizando as pessoas, a cultura e os recursos que a natureza nos oferece.
