Stroke doesnβt usually happen in isolation.
Long before the emergency, the body is often already under strain β through inflammation, poor circulation, high blood pressure, inactivity, and years of wear on the arteries.
What first led me into science was noticing that some people developed heart attacks and strokes while others remained healthy well into old age. That question eventually led to the discovery of nitric oxide β a molecule our arteries naturally produce to help protect blood vessels, support circulation, and maintain vascular health.
National Stroke Awareness Month highlights something important: prevention is not built on one decision, but on the patterns we repeat every day β movement, nutrition, breathing, sleep, and how we care for the body over time.
