Contact lenses are one of the most liberating things optometry offers - clear, comfortable vision with nothing getting in the way.

But they come with responsibility. And poor lens hygiene is one of the leading causes of preventable eye infections.

Quick reminders for lens wearers: → Always wash and thoroughly dry your hands before handling lenses → Never sleep in your lenses unless specifically prescribed for overnight wear → Replace your lenses exactly as directed - daily, fortnightly, or monthly → Never use water (or saliva!) to rinse lenses or storage cases → Replace your lens case every 1-3 months → If your eyes are red, irritated, or uncomfortable - remove your lenses and call us
