Medirad Namibia's business model is perfectly designed to arrest the health problems faced by people residing in the remote areas of the country. We at Medirad believes that, with the use of available hi-tech equipment, all crucial human health screening and diagnostic tools such as, medical laboratories, surgical services, radiological services etc, can be put on special wheels to access more people in the remote areas of the country. Not forgetting the international standard requirements, we believe that, because Namibia is a vast country with spersly populated areas, this is the only solution that could be employed by the private sectors in conjunction with the government to provide these much sought services to the rural poor.
Medirad Namibia's modul operandi makes us a social business . This therefore means, a method to sustain our projects needs to be put in place. It is for this reason that, we operate as a private medical service provider in order for us to generate funds from those who can afford to pay for our services. This combination we believe will change the current health status quo.
The recognition by the Development Bank of Namibia to award us the innovation business award for our business module speaks volume of our ability to innovate and provide a huge padigm shift in the health sector.
