Job Vacancy: Medical Laboratory Manager – Alpha Medical Laboratory, Rundu Branch
Alpha Medical Laboratory is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Laboratory Manager to lead our dynamic team at the Rundu Branch.
Location: Rundu, Namibia
Position: Medical Laboratory Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations ensuring efficiency and compliance with standards
• Lead and supervise laboratory staff, ensuring high-quality diagnostic services
• Maintain quality control, safety protocols, and accreditation standards
• Coordinate with healthcare providers to support patient care
• Manage inventory, equipment maintenance, and laboratory budgets
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of laboratory experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory/managerial role
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of Namibia (HPCNA)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
