Chiropractic is an alternative form of health care, which primarily treats conditions that affect the spine and surrounding joints, as well as the associated muscles, ligaments, tendons and nerves. During your first consultation, which generally takes 45 minutes to an hour, we take a patient history as well as a quick examination top to toe for any other conditions. We then examine the affected ar
eas and advise of the methods of treatment, or referral, should you require attention from another medical specialist. Our treatments include:
Chiropractic adjustment or joint alignment, myofascial dry needling (similar to accupuncture), deep tissue and soft tissue therapy, stretch and exercise therapy, strapping, Kinesiotaping, as well as education. Follow up consults are generally in the region of 30 - 45 minutes. Please note that this practice is contracted into all Namibian medical aid schemes, with the exception of PSEMAS, which we are currently registering with. PSEMAS patients are required to settle their consultations, and claim directly from their medical aid.
