PART 2: If you suspect you might have PCOS, see a medical doctor. The work up will include a thorough history, medical examination, blood tests and an ultrasound. Once the diagnosis has been confirmed, management includes: Lifestyle changes - often a specific diet will be prescribed. Exercise is an important part of treatment. Weight loss improves symptoms of PCOS. Combined oral contraceptive is used to control irregular me**es. Medication is often prescribed to manage insulin resistance. Assistance with fertility might be needed. The sooner a patient has the correct diagnosis, adequate steps can be taken to manage the condition and complications can be prevented or easier to manage.

Good day dear Patient

The winds of change are upon us.
We have been so privileged to have worked together for the last 4 years. However, as of 1 April, there will be some changes.

I am moving my practice and will be working from Eros Family Practice. How will this affect you as my patient? You will benefit with an onsite pharmacy as well as a sister. There will also always be an umbrella of outstanding doctors if I am not available. There is also the added service of Saturday morning availability
