Our doctors attended the 50th conference of the Ophthalmology Society of South Africa this past week and had the privilege to meet up with Professor Meyer under whom all of them specialized. Prof Meyer was also the recipient of the prestigious DJ Wood medal for his enormous contribution to ophthalmology worldwide.
