Namibia Health Plan (NHP) is a leading medical aid fund that offers reliable medical aid cover to Namibians of all ages and health levels. Since its inception in 1995, NHP has stood by their principles of providing the highest quality healthcare to its members with comprehensive benefits at affordable rates, and this, combined with excellent service, has made us one of the most experienced medical aid funds in Namibia. This enables us to offer an uncomplicated, affordable, product range with benefit options that have been designed to meet both employer groups and individual members’ healthcare needs. NHP aims to facilitate access to quality healthcare for members through efficient and sustainable management of resources, for life. That is why we believe that our very reason for existence is all about our members.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗡𝗛𝗣 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗱
The Fund is a non-profit entity governed by the Medical Aid Funds Act, 1995 (Act 23 of 1995), and is regulated by the Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (NAMFISA) whilst it is also a member of the Namibian Association of Medical Aid Funds (NAMAF), the controlling body for medical aid funds in Namibia. An independent Board of Trustees manages and looks after the well-being of the Fund. The well-being of NHP is more than a fiduciary duty to the Board of Trustees, as can be testified from the time and energy that they devote to NHP and members’ interests. The Board of Trustees manages the Fund on your behalf according to the Rules of the Fund. These Rules change from time to time taking changing circumstances into account. When the Rules are changed you will be notified accordingly.
