👣 World Clubfoot Day | June 3rd 👣

Today we raise awareness about clubfoot, a treatable birth condition affecting thousands of children worldwide. Early intervention can give every child the chance to walk, run, and play without pain.

This month, in honour of World Clubfoot Day, the Ministry of Health and Social Services, Lady Pohamba Private Hospital, and Steps2Walk are joining hands again to bring hope and healing to Namibian patients. From 16 - 20 June, leading orthopedic surgeons and medical teams will provide free corrective surgeries, training, and care for patients living with clubfoot.

Together, we step toward a future where every person can walk with confidence.

Welcome Dr Barry Richter!

Dr. Richter is a highly trained gynaecologist and certified urogynaecology and pelvic pain subspecialist. He has the professional dedication of helping women to feel and function like themselves again. This might mean recovering their pelvic functional health, managing pain or menopausal sequela, or obtaining their feminine aesthetic best. He has over 30 years of international experience as a specialist in private and academic practice. He has trained many colleagues in advanced laparoscopic techniques. He also obtains training nationally and internationally as an important and enjoyable part of his professional life. The most satisfying part of his calling is to help the woman who is suffering from prolapse, incontinence and pelvic pain, on whom other doctors have given up on. His extensive experience and training give him the ability to help these women. He is a certified urogynaecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery subspecialist, a certified neuropelveologist and certified aesthetic (cosmetic) gynaecological surgeon.
