Yesterday, Sunday the 21st, I had the honour of representing my boss, the Honourable Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Hon. Sir Ananaba Nwadinma, at the Uratta Aba North Ward 6 Unity Cup Tournament. It was a truly beautiful moment in a community renowned for peace, love, and unity, as they warmly received their own son, brother, and father—a genuine son of Osusu Aba North, gentle in spirit, exceptional in character, and outstanding in intellect.

I sincerely thank you, Sir, for the trust, privilege, love, and unwavering support. I do not take this opportunity for granted and remain deeply grateful.

The Uratta Unity Cup, organized by the Honourable Councillor, Hon. Nnamdi Sunday, is a laudable initiative focused on fostering unity and discovering young talents within the community. This effort deserves serious commitment, especially with the strong backing, policies, and vision of His Excellency toward reviving and repositioning sports in Abia State.

Abia State has produced legendary sports figures over the years. Sadly, there was a period when personal interests overshadowed collective progress—until God, in His mercy, brought Dr. Alex C. Otti, OFR, to correct the wrongs and restore hope.

Promise kept!
Abia leads Nigeria’s electric revolution as the state receives 20 electric buses, with 100 more arriving before mid-next year.

Despite a brief delay to add essential disability-access features, Governor Alex Otti ensured every bus met the highest standards. The buses now arrive fully equipped and ultra-modern.

With 24-hour power already running in nine LGAs and plans to acquire 60% of EEDC, Abia is building the backbone for clean, accessible transport. Statewide charging stations and the new flagship terminal are also nearing completion.

Soon, these electric buses will glide across Abia, offering affordable, world-class comfort to everyone.

Politics begins at the grassroots—because truly, politics is local.

Under the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Dr. Alex C. Otti, the narrative in Abia State has changed. He is indeed the game changer who has restored hope to Ndi Abia.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of joining my ward, Eziama Ward 1, Aba North, for a strategic Abia Arise meeting, in line with the directive of our State Chairman, Hon. Mazi Nkem Okoro, who urged us to engage actively at the ward level.

Special thanks to our capable Ward Councillor, Bishop Anthony Ejiogu, for his support and partnership.

In our little way, we gave back to the grassroots. What began as a modestly planned Abia Arise Ward meeting turned into a massive and impactful gathering. Every member in attendance went home with 10kg of rice, 10kg of garri, and a small token of appreciation.

I felt deeply fulfilled and remain grateful to His Excellency for the opportunity to serve and stand in the gap for our people.

A special commendation to the 19 most exceptional students who secured automatic employment through the Abia State Government yesterday, under the esteemed leadership of His Excellency, Dr. Alex C. Otti.

The esteemed Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Sir Ananaba Nwaobilor, extends his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to His Excellency for his unwavering commitment and dedication to realizing the vision of "A New Abia of Our Collective Dream." The Mazi Fredrick O. Eze Foundation is poised to make a significant impact in the Amanngwu community by empowering ten young individuals with a grant of one million naira each to bolster their entrepreneurial ventures. This ambitious initiative aims to cultivate a thriving business environment within the community, with the expectation that this financial support will lead to the generation of several million naira in economic growth over the next two years, thereby fostering prosperity and self-sufficiency among the youth.
