Edema is the accumulation of fluid (water) in body tissues.
This can be in the legs, joints abdomen, etc. Edema usually does not pose life threat, however, it can be associated with hypertension, hypernatremia, hypokalemia, kidney failure to mention but a few.

What to do?

- Reduce Salt intake
- Get checked if you notice swelling around your limbs or other parts of your body as this could be a sign of serious conditions.
